SSC-MTS is a non-gazetted in the Group-C category (central government service). One who cracks the job can earn from 18,000-22.000 initially. However, the salary may change from city to city.
The staff selection commission conducts these tests and the notification has been released for the year 2020. The last day for the submission of the online application is 21st March 2021. Other details regarding the exam, pattern, syllabus, books are given below:
Eligibility:
- The candidate should have passed matriculation or any similar board exam.
- Application fee 100/-
- Age limit: should be 18-24 on 1-01-2021 for few posts and 18-27 for few posts
- There is age relaxation for reserved castes

Exam Pattern:
- MTS will organize the exam in two papers, Paper-1 & Paper-2.
- SSC MTS Paper 1 Will be Objective
- Paper-II (Descriptive), can be written in the mother tongue.
- There are four parts in SSC MTS Paper-I having 100 Questions of 100 marks

- Part-A: General Intelligence & Reasoning (25/ 25)

Paper 1 Time: 90 minutes
Paper-II:
Short Essay/Letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.

English: Kiran Chapterwise solved papers.
Reasoning: Go for free PDF in Google
Current Affairs: Lucent, Kiran Chapter wise, general websites in Google
