It is well known that the Corona Virus has already been into 60 countries in the world. Now it is already into India. Kerala detected 3 cases and recently 2 in Delhi and Hyderabad. One more case is suspected in Rajasthan as well. Of course, there haven’t been any deaths till now due to the virus.
But here are some preventive measures of spreading the virus which are the guidelines given by WHO(World Health Organisation).
Maintain social Distance :
At least Maintain a distance of 1 meter or 3 feet from person to person when you are moving in a crowded place. Because the virus is spreading through droplets of the infected person. A person who coughs or sneeze beside you might be looking normal but may have been affected which we don’t know. So, avoid staying in Crowded places and maintain distance with people.
Wash Hands Thoroughly:
We visit many places daily. We don’t know if an infected person might have visited the place before. His droplets may be present in the things around you and touching those can surely get you infected so, after touching anything inappropriate outside, wash your hands thoroughly with soap at least for 2 minutes and clean every nook and corner of your hands. Especially after using public toilets.
Practise Respiratory Hygiene:
Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Suffering From Cold, Cough, Flu?
Don’t hesitate to visit a doctor. Even a normal cold should be suspected if that does not get cured even after 3 to 4 days.
- Spread these preventive measures and create awareness
- People who returned from abroad please visit Corona wards in Government Hospitals and get screened.
- If you are suffering from cold and cough stay away from your loved ones so that they don’t get affected.
- Wear Masks while visiting crowded places.
- Reduce the visit to crowded places.
