Netflix, now in your pocket
Most of us know that Netflix has been testing a mobile-only plan for India and similar markets. Well, the testing phase has ended and Netflix today at New Delhi announced the new plan.
It planned to charge INR 250 for the mobile-only plan, but they have announced that they are launching it at just INR 199. In the wake of increasing popularity for streaming sites and new sites like Disney Plus announced, Netflix has announced the new plan which makes it competitive and popular in the market.
The Indian Netflix show Sacred Games will have its season 2 streaming from August 15th on Netflix and this announcement is quite a relief for fans waiting for it.

But there are few limitations for this new plan. As the name suggests, it’s a mobile-only plan and can be played only on devices like mobile phones or tablets. You can only watch it on 1 screen simultaneously and the content will be streaming only in Standard Definition, but not HD or Ultra HD like the other plans.
The plan will be live by the end of the day, you can grab it if you like it suits you. Netflix has also changed the prices of the other plans already existing, here’s the list of revised prices:
Basic – INR 499
Standard – INR 649
Premium – INR 799
The existing users are very happy and inquiring about new mutual fund schemes where they can invest the amount they are going to save due to reduced prices(pun intended), which is INR 1.
It is also known that Netflix is also testing Weekly plans, quite useful for binge watchers. But it has not announced any such plans at today’s event.
