SONATA SOFTWARE IS HIRING FOR AWS DEVELOPER SRE ROLE JOB REFERRAL BY FLM
- Position: AWS DevOps SRE
- Experience Required: Minimum 6 to 13 years
- Location: Bangalore, hyderabad, chennai
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experience in designing solution architectures, developing, and managing highly available, distributed systems and services in a cloud environment, as well as defining and implementing technical operations processes and rolling out new services across multiple teams and markets.
- Extensive hands-on experience implementing infrastructure-as-code with a strong focus on DevSecOps principles.
- Good experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI; Jenkins is a plus.
- Deep automation expertise, hands-on with programming languages such as Python and NodeJs.
- Proven experience with monitoring/observability solutions, preferably Datadog.
- Experience operating Linux-based systems and containerized infrastructure, including orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of financial operations in the cloud, including cost optimization, observability, and reporting. Experience with cloud cost management tools is a plus.
- AWS Certification at Associate level or above is required.
- FinOps Practitioner Certification is a plus.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices, with an understanding of the social and ethical implications of software development, as outlined in frameworks like the ACM Code of Ethics.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail, a commitment to thorough execution, and the ability to make data-driven decisions to drive optimal outcomes.
- Customer-centric and passionate about delivering great digital products and services.
- Passionate about continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, and maintaining a craftsmanship mindset in all aspects of work.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to create technical content, deliver engaging tech talks, and effectively share knowledge with diverse audiences.

- Comfortable with ambiguity and highly autonomous.

- Setting up agent, RUM monitors, automation of synthetic monitoring, analysis of logs, and multidimensional view.

- Primary Competency
AWS
- VPC, ECS, Fargate, CloudFormation, Lambda, data transfer within AWS, setting up and configuring DNS are very important.
- Proficiency Level: 4
- Primary Competency
Terraform
- Proficiency in writing layered and module code. Understanding and implementing latest Terraform syntax and concepts.
- Proficiency Level: 4
- Primary Competency
Ansible
- General understanding of Ansible.
- Proficiency Level: 3
- Primary Competency
GitLab
- Proficiency in creating pipelines and execution. Proficiency in CI/CD.
- Proficiency Level: 4
- Primary Competency
Container Services (Docker/EKS)
- Strong understanding and implementation of container services within infrastructure.
