π Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

π― Role Overview
As a Design Engineer at Jarsh Safety, you will take end-to-end ownership of the mechanical product design lifecycle β from concept development to production-ready hardware. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop next-generation IoT-enabled industrial safety devices used by field workers in high-risk environments.
π What Youβll Work On
β Design and develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, tooling, and fixtures using SolidWorks/CATIA
β Create production-ready manufacturing drawings with GD&T standards
β Lead plastic product design for wearable and industrial safety devices
β Work on DFM, injection moulding, electroplating, and surface finishing processes
β Collaborate with electronics, firmware, and industrial design teams for integrated product development
β Drive new product development from ideation to production release
β Conduct prototyping, testing, validation, and design optimization activities
β Coordinate with tooling vendors, mould makers, CNC vendors, and suppliers
β Support BOM generation, version control, and engineering documentation
β Solve real-world engineering challenges for industrial safety applications
π Eligibility
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
2 β 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical product design or new product development
β
What Weβre Looking For
β Strong expertise in plastic product design and engineering polymers
β Hands-on experience with injection moulding design principles and DFM
β Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or CATIA
β Strong understanding of GD&T, fits, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
β Knowledge of electroplating and surface finishing techniques
β Problem-solving mindset with strong ownership and accountability
β Ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment
β Clear communication and collaboration skills
β Nice-to-Have Skills
β’ Experience with wearable or portable industrial devices
β’ Familiarity with IP65/IP67 enclosure design
β’ Exposure to rapid prototyping (3D printing/CNC machining)
β’ Knowledge of IEC/IS safety standards
β’ Understanding of CE/RoHS compliance requirements
β’ Experience with agile or stage-gate product development processes
β’ Exposure to sensor integration in mechanical assemblies
