• 3-year Engineering Diploma with Physics & Mathematics, OR
• 2-year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics (50% aggregate)

• 01/2027 Batch: Born between 01 Dec 2004 – 31 May 2009
• 02/2027 Batch: Born between 01 May 2005 – 31 Oct 2009

• Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply
• Must remain unmarried throughout the 4-year service period

 Selection Process

Stage I – INET Exam

• Mode: Computer-based test
• Questions: 100 objective-type
• Duration: 1 hour

Marking Scheme:

• +1 for correct answer
• -0.25 for wrong answer

Note: NCC ‘C’ certificate holders and sponsored candidates are exempted from Stage I.

Stage II – Physical & Written Assessment

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

For Males:

• 1.6 km run in 6 min 30 sec
• 20 squats
• 15 push-ups
• 15 sit-ups

For Females:

• 1.6 km run in 8 min
• 15 squats
• 10 push-ups
• 10 sit-ups

Written Exam:

• Same syllabus as Stage I

Medical Examination:

• Conducted after PFT
• Appeal allowed within 5 days if declared unfit

Service Terms & Benefits

• Service Duration: 4 years under Navy Act 1957
