Postgraduate students (General & Professional courses)
Students facing personal or family crises or severe financial difficulties that may force them to drop out of school or college can receive financial assistance of up to ₹75,000.
This initiative is part of HDFC Bank’s Parivartan programme, which works in areas like education, rural development, skill development, healthcare, hygiene, and financial literacy.
Scholarship Categories
1. For School Students (Class 1–12, Diploma, ITI, Polytechnic)
Eligibility
Open for Indian nationals only.
Students must be studying in Classes 1 to 12, Diploma, ITI, or Polytechnic in private, government, or govt.-aided institutions.
Must have passed the previous exam with at least 55% marks.
Annual family income ≤ ₹2.5 Lakh.
Preference for students facing personal/family crisis in the last 3 years.
Note: Only students pursuing Diploma after Class 12 are eligible.

Class 1–6: ₹15,000
Class 7–12, Diploma, ITI, Polytechnic: ₹18,000
2. For Undergraduate Students (General & Professional Courses)
Eligibility
Indian nationals only.
Pursuing graduation in General courses (B.Com, B.Sc, B.A, BCA, etc.) or Professional courses (B.Tech, MBBS, LLB, B.Arch, Nursing, etc.).
Must have scored at least 55% marks in the last exam.
Annual family income ≤ ₹2.5 Lakh.
Preference for students in crisis in the last 3 years.
Benefits
General UG courses: ₹30,000
Professional UG courses: ₹50,000
3. For Postgraduate Students (General & Professional Courses)
Eligibility
Indian nationals only.
Pursuing PG in General courses (M.Com, M.A, etc.) or Professional courses (M.Tech, MBA, etc.).
Must have scored at least 55% marks in the last exam.
Annual family income ≤ ₹2.5 Lakh.
Preference for students in crisis in the last 3 years.
Benefits
General PG courses: ₹35,000
Professional PG courses: ₹75,000
