Objective of the CCI Internship

The main goals of this internship are to:

• Help students understand the Competition Act, 2002 and its applications in the Indian market.

• Provide practical exposure to competition law, economics, and market regulation.

• Encourage students to engage in research and analysis in the field of competition policy.

⚠️ Note: This internship is not a job offer or an assurance of future employment at CCI.

Eligibility Criteria

The internship is open only to Indian Nationals.
It is available for students from recognized universities and institutions who have exposure to competition law.

Students who already have a job placement offer are not eligible to apply.

Educational Qualifications

Students pursuing the following courses can apply:

(i) Economics and Management

• MA / MSc. (Economics)

• Fourth and final year students of 5-year integrated degree Programme in Economics

• MBA

(ii) Law

• Second and third year of the Bachelors degree in Law (3-year course after graduation), or

• Fourth and final year of the five-year integrated course in Law and students who have taken 3rd year exam and are entering the 4th year

• LLM

(iii) Regulatory Governance

• MA / MSc. (Regulatory Governance)

(iv) Professional Courses

• Students of final group of Chartered Accountancy (CA) or Cost Accountancy (CMA) or Company Secretary (CS)

Stipend

Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 as an honorarium during their internship period.
