CBI’s Law Internship Scheme is aimed at law students enrolled in graduate programs who are eager to gain practical training in investigation and prosecution processes under the guidance of top legal officers.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be an Indian citizen.
Enrolled in a reputed law university/institute.
For 5-year LLB: Completed or undergoing the 8th semester.
For 3-year LLB: Completed or undergoing the 4th semester.
Internship Duration
The internship will span 3 to 6 months depending on CBI requirements.
Internship Locations
Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Bangalore
Number of Vacancies
30 interns will be selected under this scheme.
Nature of Work
Interns will assist in:
Court judgment research
Drafting court applications
Examining legal documents and witnesses
Preparing trial presentations
Supporting CBI legal and investigation officers in real case matters
