Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidate must be:

• A citizen of India, OR

• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, OR

• A Tibetan refugee (before 1 Jan 1962), OR

• A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with intent to settle permanently.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 25 years
  (Candidates born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2008 are eligible)

Educational Qualification

As on 01 January 2026, candidates must:

• Have passed 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board of the concerned State/UT

• Must be undergraduate

• Graduates or higher qualified candidates are NOT eligible

• Must be proficient in the local language of the state applied for

Selection Process

Selection will be done in two stages:

1. Online Test

Negative Marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer

2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates shortlisted from the Online Test must qualify in the Local/Official Language Test.
Failure to qualify in LPT will lead to disqualification.

Nature of Job

The post of Office Attendant is a Class IV post. Duties include:

• Handling files and records

• Delivering documents

• Photocopying

• Office assistance

• Opening/closing departments

• Any other non-clerical work assigned by seniors
