1.Job Title:  Python Data Engineer

• Experience Level: 5- 8 years
• Location: Bangalore
• Shift: UK shift (1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, or 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM) (first few months)
• Budget: 12 -20 LpaExperience
• 5-8 years of professional experience working in a data centric environment.
• Experienced in building modern data pipelines, including data validation and monitoring.
• Having good understanding of soft engineering processes.
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL is required.
• Promoter of software engineering best practices, from automated testing to CI/CD
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud computing (Azure) preferred
• It would be desirable to also have worked with a more traditional tech stack, such as C# .NET and a frontend technology (such as Angular)
• Should have experience working in onshore-offshore modelMust have Technical skills

  Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain SAS Grid environments, including SAS Foundation, SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Metadata Server, and Mid-Tier components.
  Monitor system performance, usage, and reliability; proactively address capacity and performance issues.
• Manage user access, security settings, and metadata in the SAS environment.
  Work closely with infrastructure, network, and storage teams to ensure seamless integration and uptime.\
• Perform backups, recovery, and patching of SAS servers and applications.
  Support migration of SAS applications and code across development, test, and production environments.
• Implement automation and monitoring solutions to streamline administration tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues related to SAS jobs, grid load balancing, and resource allocation.
• Maintain documentation related to system architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with SAS developers, analysts, and business users to optimize performance and solve technical challenges.Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in managing SAS Grid environments.
• Strong understanding of SAS architecture and SAS software stack (Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/ACCESS, etc.).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.).
• Experience with SAS Management Console and metadata administration.
• Working knowledge of clustered environments, load balancing, and distributed computing.\
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
