  • Experience: 4-15 years

  • Interview Date & Venue: 9th May 2026, Saturday at TCS Kolkata (9am -3pm).

 

       Job description:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including report and dashboard development.
  • Ability to build data models, create measures, KPIs, and perform complex DAX calculations.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning.
  • Experience building semantic models (star/snowflake schemas), tabular models, and handling data transformations using Power Query.
  • Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and integrating data across multiple sources.
  • Advanced capability in DAX to create analytical expressions, calculations, and optimized metrics.
  • Strong understanding of Power Query (M) for data cleansing and transformation.
  • Ability to design intuitive, interactive dashboards following visualization and UX best practices.
  • Experience creating custom visuals, implementing row-level security, and managing workspace-level design.
  • Knowledge of report deployment, scheduling refreshes, managing gateways, and integrating Power BI with external apps (embedded analytics).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, etc.) is highly preferred.
