Key Highlights of TCS HackQuest Season 10
Registration End Date: 18th November 2025 (Tuesday)
Round 1 Date: 13th December 2025 (Saturday) | 10 AM – 4 PM IST
Mode: Online & In-person (for final round)
Eligibility: Students graduating in 2026 with degrees in B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech, M.E, BCA, MCA, B.Sc, M.Sc, or related fields.
Participation Type: Individual only (no teams allowed).

About TCS HackQuest
Launched in 2016, HackQuest is an annual cybersecurity contest hosted by the TCS Cyber Security Unit. Based on the globally popular Capture the Flag (CTF) model, the contest provides participants with real-world cybersecurity challenges across different levels:
Beginner – Fundamentals of ethical hacking, password cracking, and basic vulnerabilities.
Intermediate – Web application security, SQL injection, SOC challenges, AI/ML security testing.
Expert – Advanced penetration testing, reverse engineering, digital forensics, malware analysis, and cryptography.
The contest is structured in 3 rounds:
Round 1 (Online CTF Challenge) – Solve challenges in 6 hours, submit reports with solutions.
Round 2 (Remote Proctored Test) – Advanced penetration testing, mobile security, forensics, and incident response.
Round 3 (Grand Finale at TCS Campus) – In-person live challenges, presentations, and interviews with jury experts.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be a student enrolled in a recognized college/university in India.
Should be graduating in 2026 with one of the following degrees:
B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech, M.E
BCA, MCA
B.Sc, M.Sc (Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, etc.)
Mandatory to have a valid TCS NextStep Reference ID (CT/DT number) for registration.
