SBIF ASHA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2024

The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024, one of India’s largest scholarship programs, is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical – Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education

SBIF ASHA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS

• Qualification: Applicants must be studying in Class 6 to 12 in the current academic year.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 3,00,000.
• Classes 6 to 12 : INR 15,000 each
• Deadline : October 31, 2024

NOTE:

• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.

SBIF ASHA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

• Qualification: Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course (any year) from a premier university/college in India, as listed in the Top 100 Institutes according to the latest NIRF rankings.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
• Undergraduate Students : Up to INR 50,000
• Deadline : October 31, 2024

NOTE:

• Premier institutions and renowned colleges will include those listed in the top 100 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) List for Universities and the top 100 in the NIRF List for Colleges for 2023 and 2024 (released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India). Additionally, all National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will also be included.
• Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.

SBIF ASHA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS

• Qualification: Applicants must be pursuing a postgraduate course (any year) from a premier university/college in India, as listed in the Top 100 Institutes according to the latest NIRF rankings.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
• Postgraduate Students : Up to INR 70,000
• Deadline : October 31, 2024

NOTE:

• Qualification: Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course (any year) from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in India.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
• Undergraduate Students from IITs : Up to INR 2,00,000
• Deadline : October 31, 2024

NOTE:

• Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.

SBIF ASHA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR IIM STUDENTS

• Qualification: Applicants must be pursuing MBA/PGDM courses (any year) from an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in India.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
• MBA Students from IIMs : Up to INR 7,50,000
• Deadline : October 31, 2024.

NOTE:

• Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories

Documents

• Marksheet from the previous academic year (Class 12/Graduation/Postgraduation, as applicable)
• Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card)
• Current year Fee receipt
• Proof of current year admission (Admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
• Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
• Proof of income (Form 16A/income certificate from a government authority/salary slips, etc.)
• Photograph of the applicant.
• Caste certificate (wherever applicable)
