- Qualification : Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics or another STEM discipline with programming courses
- Confidence to get started and deliver high quality code in one of Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript or Java
- Experience with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution
- Result-oriented and organized, with the drive to meet commitments
- Personal projects in technology and software engineering beyond the curriculum
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
- Thoughtfulness, self-awareness and the ability to reflect and develop
- Packaging and Linux distribution contributions – Debian, Fedora, Arch, Nix or another

American Express is Hiring : Data Engineer
- Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Object Oriented programming using Python.
- Experience with ETL jobs design principles.
- Solid understanding of HQL, SQL and data modelling.
- Knowledge on Unix/Linux and Shell scripting principles.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
