For every year BCCI announces its Central contract in the player actively performing in the sport will be allocated a grade and he will be paid according to the grade allocated. The committee consists of President, Secretary, Chief selector..are going to decide the list of players.
It’s a ritual that happens every year but this year it had brought a dramatic scene in the cricket environment. The Players currently for team India will be taken to contract to play for a certain period of time…and categorized into 4 groups with different cash returns at each group…
This categorization depends upon their position in the team along with the periodicity of their game in different formats. By keeping this in concern players are positioned in A+, A, B, C grades.
Players in A+ will be paid ₹7cr / annum. Players in A ₹5crs / annum…Players in B grade ₹3crs/ annum Players in C with ₹1cr / annum...

In the current list, there is no place for MSD…He is not been in any grade disclosed by BCCI.
This brought a Strom like environment and made fans go mad…as there is clarity whether their favorite player will play any more or not. Even last time Dhoni had demoted to the lower category than the previous time..even this made fans angry…but later on, with the explanation, they were satisfied.
Last year as Dhoni is not in test cricket he was graded with A and paid according to that. But this year he is not active in any format..and as there is no any confirmation with regard to his comeback…he is not given any grade in the current position.
But most of the cricketing analysts and BCCI members are assuring this is not end of their career.. reasons supporting this
1. Not only Dhoni other players like DK, but Khaalel Ahmed also are not included in the list
2. A BCCI member consulted Dhoni and told him about the list…after the discussion, the list has been finalized.
3. If Dhoni picked up for the T20 world cup squad he can get included in the A grade.
4. There is even a chance to include Dhoni in the contract list on a temporary basis..if needed.
Team India requires service of Dhoni…as Pant is taking time to be a full-time wicket keeping batsman..and as India taking T20 world cup prestigious..there might be a chance for Dhoni to comeback…Whatever may happen…one true Indian and cricket fan has to respect the decision of team India and Dhoni..anything may happen..with a valid reason behind…Therefore the fans here not supposed to get panic… and wait for the destiny to decide and be assured that anything that happened is for the greater good for the Indian cricket team.
