RRB-NTPC is conducted to recruit the non-technical cadre on the Railway board. There are many vacancies coming up in recent years. So, here we are sharing an overview of the exam, requirements, exam pattern, and other details below:
Vacancies will be filled up for the post of:
- Ticket Collector,
- Commercial Apprentice,
- Clerk Cum Typist,
- Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist,
- Traffic Apprentice,
- Assistant Station Master,
- Senior Clerk cum Typist,
- Senior Time Keeper,
- Inquiry cum Reservation Clerk,
- Goods Guard, etc.
Eligibility:
- Should be an Indian Nationality
- Should be between the age of 18-30
- Those who apply for the position of undergraduates should have passed 10+2
- Those who apply for the graduate position should hold any degree
Exam Pattern:
The exam will be held in 3 stages others and in 4 stages for those who apply for the position of steno, typing, and such posts.
Stage1:
Stage 1 is a computer-based test and will have 90 minutes to solve three sections
- General Awareness,
- Mathematics and
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
Stage2:
Stage 2 is also a CBT based test and will have 90 minutes to solve 3 sections

- Mathematics and G
- general Intelligence and Reasoning
Stage3:
Stage3 will have typing test but only for few positions namely:
- Junior Clerk cum Typist,
- Junior Time Keeper,
- Accounts Clerk cum Typist,
- Senior Clerk cum Typist,
- Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper).
The final step will be documents verification

Strategy:
For everyone who is appearing for the government the key to success is consistency. One needs to be consistent in his approach. If you are good at maths, make sure that you don’t make any mistakes in it. If you are good at English make sure you won’t do mistakes in it.
The cut-off for RRB is increasing because of more number of genuine aspirants. So, be one among them. Take up a timetable that suits you and doesn’t neglect that even a single day at any cost. Keep yourselves stress-free. Talk to the one who has already cracked the exam and is currently doing the job.
