DESI vs SWADESHI

As our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji asked the people of the nation to buy products manufactured by Indian companies as it helps strengthen our economy, we have prepared a list of items that can be replaced by Indian made products (if you are not already using Indian manufactured products).

The below-mentioned list includes products that we use in our day to day life without having the slightest knowledge of whether they are manufactured by Indian companies or foreign companies. Before going to the list let us know the difference between making in India and Vocal for Local.

If a foreign company say, Nike shoe manufacturing unit is established in Hyderabad, then the leather used for in show making is from India. The jobs in the unit will be for Indians. The taxes will be paid to the Indian Government but, the logo will be of Nike. Here the benefit is for Indians but, the name is for the parent company and country. This is included in Make in India. But, a Samsung phone, an Apple phone, a plastic used in any material is imported from other countries which our Indian government has to pay from our pockets.

Coming to vocal for local, when you prefer to drink coconut water instead of Coca-Cola, you are helping the Indian Farmer to grow his income. When you buy branded imported butter rather than locally made then it means our local goods are lagging behind foreign brands. Here we are only providing the list of goods that can be replaced without any hurdles. Because you can buy an Indian made frooty and ignore coca-cola but you cannot by Micromax or Lava Phones and ignore a Real Mi, Vivo phones.

A day starts with brushing our teeth.
